Original series star now turned producer Bruce Campbell has reassured The Insider that the new Evil Dead movie won't be a piss take. "You can expect to have a damn scary horror movie," he said. "The Evil Book is going to torment a new set of kids, so it's a remake, or a reimagining or a... re-whatever word you want to use. It's going to be re-scary."

Screen Daily reports that Orlando Bloom will star in Zulu, an adaptation of the novel by Caryl Ferey. The story is a thriller that follows two Cape Town cops who are investigating the murder of a Springbok rugby player's 18-year-old daughter. Bloom will play one of the cops.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has told The Hollywood Reporter that he won't be starring in any more films in the vampire-romance franchise as he's now too old to play an immortal ageless vampire.
