George Lucas Says His WW2 Action Flick Is Pretty 
Close To Being 'Star Wars: Episode VII'...
George Lucas has appeared on The Daily Show to promote his new WW2 fighter pilot film Red Tails. Talking to host Jon Stewart the bearded one said that the movie, which he financed and produced, is "as close as you're going to get to an Episode VII". Which either suggests that a) the fighter planes are equipped with laser guns or b) he's done with Star Wars films for good.

And In Today's Other 'Star Wars' News... 'Star Wars' Live Action TV Show Gets Title, Some Details, No Start Date...
Producer Rick McCallum has revealed some details about the long-in-the-planning Star Wars live action TV show. McCallum told IGN.com that the show's working title is Star Wars: Underworld, 50 scripts have been written, that it takes place in between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and that it's about "underneath what's going on. It's the criminals and the gangs." He also said the show was far too expensive to currently make and that he was working on getting the costs of the 1-hour show down to "an economically sound" US$5million.

Last week reports surfaced that Universal have been planning on going ahead on Bridesmaids II with or without star/writer Kristen Wiig, who has been in no hurry to walk down the aisle for a second time. Bridesmaids co-star Wendi McLendon-Covey has said that Wiig "never said that she didn't want to do it," before saying that Wiig is currently too busy writing and directing her own film to think about Bridesmaids II.

Robert Downey Jr rocked up to the Brazilian premiere of Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows and began talking up the forthcoming Iron Man 3. "I think that we have an opportunity with the third Iron Man to make the best of the three, and maybe one of the better superhero movies that's ever been made," the actor said, before slipping fully into hyperbole. "We have to remember what made the first one good. It was very character driven. It was very odd. It was kind of courageous."

It seems the previously announced 2014 release date for Avatar 2 was a tad ambitious, even for Mr Ambitious himself, director James Cameron. Speaking at a screening of Titanic 3D, Avatar producer Jon Landau said the return to Pandora is still a long, long, long way off. "we are excitedly working on it as we speak and it will be four or so years before it will be out," he said.
