"A Way of Life" tells the story the effects of the decisions made by people in difficult situations, the effects of their actions, the effects of the anger and frustration that leaves violence and crime just below skin deep and the failure and entrapment of so called social welfare systems as we know them. This is a movie to see. It again proves that lower budget movies can be and often are the most compelling. Writer and director Asante keeps the viewer involved and waiting for the next albeit it, predicatable scene.
