First hired this movie based on the trailer and thought it looked really good with all the mythical creatures but what you see in the trailer is pretty much all the fantasy world youre gonna see its a sad movie *SPOILER* with the young girl that the boy has befriended drowns *END SPOILER* not really a family film

It's boring. Nothing interesting or slightly unusual happens throughout the entire movie, and someone dies. Yay, it's touching and deep! (Not really.) The only thing interesting is the potential controversial romance between the protagonist and his teacher one day.
yer it was a cool movie, its real slow but the main character is sooooo cute!
I watched this movie only because it was on free screening on my local cinema... I wouldn't watch it otherwise. I thought the trailer was quite good. It showed many weird yet beautiful magical creatures. It was a lot like Narnia though. But in the movie not many of these magical creatures were shown. The movie focused on the boring conversations between the boy and the girl. I waited and waited for something extra special, but NADA.... overall it was a bad movie... I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...
