Kiwi filmmaker Alan Clay's first feature film is a romantic drama set against the backdrop of the Sydney music industry. A female song and dance duo threatens to self-destruct on the brink of fame when one member becomes involved with the Dreamguides, a manipulative cult, touting astrology and virtual dreaming.

Oh dear. As much as I hate to bag a small-scale local film, this romantic drama is virtually unwatchable.
The group Butterfly Crush is a dynamic package that manages to suspend all doubts when it performs, which fortunately it does a lot.
