Steven Spielberg’s 1977 sci-fi drama following Roy Neary, a simple cable man hampered with a vision of a mountain-like location. Provoked by an intrusive obsession, he seeks out this mysterious place.
During a power outage one night, Roy experiences a strange phenomenon: a close encounter of the first kind; a UFO sighting. Before long, he is drawn to an unknown position he keeps visualising. Government agents continue to experience close encounters of the second kind: physical evidence. Soon, they will all succumb to a close encounter of the third kind: contact.
