Filmmaker Whit Stillman's (Metropolitan, The Last Days of Disco) fourth comedy-drama chronicling the "urban haute bourgeoisie". Starring Greta Gerwig (Greenberg).
In an attempt to better the lives of her possibly suicidal classmates, Violet (Gerwig) and her two buds Rose (Megalyn Echikunwoke) and Heather (Carrie MacLemore) begin a therapy group involving good hygiene and musical dance numbers. Their program strengthens with the arrival of transfer student Lily (Analeigh Tipton), however romantic entanglements threaten the girls' sanity and friendship.
