The fourth film in the high-speed franchise with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker back in the drivers' seats.
The action has headed back to LA, where ex-cop Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and fugitive Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) are forced to confront a mutual enemy - a sociopathic drug kingpin who is flooding the US with lethal product (via street racers who zoom across the US-Mexican border). The car-nage involves convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across the border. Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster are also back.

Number four in the most souped-up, turbo-charged franchise in the movie world has arrived, and it’s not deviating too far from the playbook that made it such a success up to this point. If anything, it tries to recapture those bygone glory days by re-casting Paul Walker and Vin Diesel in the roles that made them stars.
Everything you’d expect to be in here is present and correct: Fancy cars pushing their speedometers to the limit, epic chase scenes punctuated by explosions and special effects, sweet babes for male audiences to lust over and Vin Diesel getting all badass on it. As long as you focus on these key elements, it’s a fun, slow-witted adrenaline charge of a movie. You don’t have to look too much closer though and it starts to get speed wobbles.
Both Walker and Diesel look bored in any scene that doesn’t have them hurtling along the tarmac or battling baddies. To be fair, the script itself doesn’t give them much to get excited about. One day, the big wigs behind this franchise are going to figure out how to do a whole movie that is 100% action and no storyline. Everyone from the cast to the loyal fan base can’t wait. Until then, wait for the DVD and fast forward to the action scenes.

Vin Diesel still has a limited emotional range but then maybe that's why people like him.
First scene was good but not much more excitement wasnt what was expected

Great movie dont get me wrong but just looks like have have run out of things to do in the movie think its time to movie on. In the movie it looked abit like midnight club 3 the remix good game but f&f4 did not have to go on and copy it. move on boys!!!! sorry to say

I admire the craft involved, but the movie leaves me profoundly indifferent. After three earlier movies in the series, which have been transmuted into video games, why do we need a fourth one? Oh. I just answered my own question.
A good action flick is just as difficult to get right as a film from any other genre. And Fast and Furious is one of the better examples I've seen in ages.

Fast & Furious is the first film since the original to be smart about how far to stretch logic without sacrificing the desired macho swagger and revved-up emotions.
Fast & Furious is, in a very bizarre way, a thing of gasp-inducing artistry to watch, even if you're not a member of the NASCAR, gear-head, street-racing crowd.
