Kill Bill tells the first half the story of a female assassin,'The Bride' (Thurman), who is attacked on her wedding day. Dead are her soon-to-be husband and unborn child. Four years later, she wakes up from a coma looking to revenge the killer. Using a blessed sword, The Bride begins her relentless assault.
Fabulous, fun! Beautifully choreographed violence in a homage to classic Westerns, Kung Fu and Asian cinematic genres - a superb example of Tarantino on top form. See it - then see it again. It gets better like a good wine!
From someone who usually likes chic-flicks, I was dreading watching it. I absolutely loved this movie, a must see, especially if you like the underdog to rein in the end. Ok, there's lots of blood, gut and fighting but the story behind it, wicked.
One of my all time fave movies, be sure to have volume 1 and 2 ready waiting as you'll want to see the 2nd straight away!
