A supernatural action-thriller set at a time when God has lost faith in Mankind and has unleashed a terrifying biblical apocalypse upon the world.
A group of strangers stranded in a remote truck stop diner unwittingly become humanity's last line of defense when they discover the diner's young waitress is pregnant with the messiah. They become Mankind's only hope, along with the Archangel Michael (Paul Bettany).
This film had a lot of horror in ti which i loved.
This film had lots of potential, The first 30 mins i was fixed, all the way up to the Granny scene!... Then it all fell to pieces, story-line and main plot evaporated that it made no sense. And generally the angels weren't tough enough. More like a human that talked slowly! And the twist, normally a twist adds a turning point and an aspect of interest. In this case, it just confused you more!... This film had lots of potential, and i was simply disappointed!. Dam you for doing a terrible job!
We didn't finish this movie. There were some cool, demonic moments utterly spoilt by huge plot holes e.g. at one point the bad guys magically stopped attacking the diner to allow our heroes to have a series of profound chats. The hero angel came to Earth then armed himself Terminator style with guns various (?!) where were his other wordly powers? I had waited to see this schlockfest. Sad.
some comical moments some effects were good other wise we be up the creek without a paddle if god decided to do that to us
Loving this trailer, very keen for release
Entertainingly trashy thriller, elevated by strong performances and some gleefully over-the-top moments.
