I apologise, we feel bad, but there's no trailer available. ~Ed.
One of the best comedy movies of all time
obnoxious and over the top. Never again.
a good all round movie but a bit too short
Funny, standard, and of the quality you'd expect from the cast. But why do they need the Hollywood-ness that by the end of it makes it corny & predictable. I'm sure people would be happy with a less rounded ending - something that was different & daring.
Yes I took my Granny and she laughed til she cried. An inoffensive fun movie(the four of us in the theatre laughed too) Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson stole the show, while Michael Douglas and Matt Dillon got a small tick for 'trying hard' Loved the fire scene. It came to a predictable US ending.
The comedy is obvious and flat while the drama is stale. They did do one thing right, however: They attracted a stellar cast...
It's virtually impossible not to like Owen Wilson. Resisting his rumpled blond charm for some experimental reason would be like snubbing a puppy - how could you? In "You, Me and Dupree," Wilson plays Randy Dupree, a man crowding 40 whose mind is still stuck back in college (probably doing bong hits and cutting classes)...
1/2 Like Dupree himself, the film wears out its welcome a little, but is still entertaining...
It's just off, odd and joyless...
Matt Dillon was so good in Crash, wasn't he? And that Owen Wilson is such a funny guy. Wedding Crashers had to be one of the funniest films released last year. And that perky Kate Hudson is a cute actress, too. I loved her in Almost Famous.
Sadly, You, Me and Dupree will leave you searching for happy memories of those times you actually enjoyed watching this trio of talent. You have to search a wee way back for their fourth accomplice, Michael Douglas. Was it The Game? Falling Down? Romancing the Stone?
Whatever that happy memory is, it certainly isn't this movie...
