Horrendous Editing Bog Down This Well Acted Bio-Pic.
Christian Bale is impeccable, but the jarring editing really prevented me from loving this.
Beware the Quiet Man
The best political satire on film for a wee while - so many laughs abound and also just interesting insight into topics such as unitary executive theory, familial relationships of political figures and exploration into the question "what do we believe?". Fascinating and magnetic till the end, there are times when key events in the movie (Dick Cheney making moves) come and thick and fast - but overall the film makes events that happened quite palatable to the novice.
