The kids saw Dumbo while the adults saw Us this week in NZ

It was a tight race to the top, but Disney’s Dumbo remake narrowly beat Jordan Peele’s Us for the throne this week at the NZ box office. While Dumbo comfortably stayed as #1 throughout the weekend, Us was the head honcho for every other day—except Tuesday, where NZ musical Daffodils came up and under everyone to gain the most money that day.

This tightrope race will only get tighter with Shazam!, Vai and Pet Sematary in cinemas this week.
